Mix Megapol Göteborg

Mix Megapol Göteborg is the Gothenburg station of Mix Megapol, a Swedish commercial pop radio network. It plays a broad mix of current hits and familiar pop favourites from recent decades, aimed at a general adult audience, with presenters and short news and service updates between the songs.

Mix Megapol is part of Bauer Media, which took over the brand in a Nordic radio deal with SBS Discovery Radio. The Göteborg service is also available on FM and DAB+ in the Gothenburg region, and the programme is in Swedish. Schedule and presenter information for this local feed is published on the station's pages at Radioplay.

The stream on RadioKite is an MP3 feed at 128 kbit/s, stereo. Expect upbeat, easy-to-listen pop music with regular jingles and commercial radio programming rather than long talk segments. It is a good choice for background listening during work or driving, and for anyone who wants to hear what mainstream Swedish commercial radio sounds like in Sweden's second-largest city.
