Rádio Vale Verde FM 96.66

Rádio Vale Verde FM 96.66 is a Brazilian FM station with a programme of pop music. The playlist combines national and international hits with local news, weather and community announcements, presented in Portuguese by friendly hosts. The mood is cheerful and local, designed as a companion for the car, the shop and the home.

Brazil has one of the largest radio audiences in the world, with AM and FM stations in every city and a strong tradition of news, sport and music on the air, and Brazilian Portuguese is spoken with a warm and rhythmic character that learners find rewarding. The internet lets Brazilians living abroad keep in touch with the sound of home. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between programmes. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 48 kbps, a very low bitrate that keeps data use minimal and is adequate for speech, although the sound is thin and not suited to music. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
