Joya 101.7 Tuxtla

Joya 101.7, also known as Stereo Joya, is a Spanish-language adult contemporary station broadcasting on 101.7 FM from Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital of Chiapas, Mexico, under the call sign XHVV-FM. It plays pop and romantic ballads for an adult audience.

The frequency has a long history: it began as the AM station XEYL, which received its concession in 1964 and was originally located in Chiapa de Corzo. It was later moved to FM following approval in 2010 and operates as a Class B station with 25 kW of effective radiated power. Sources disagree on which company currently operates it, so ownership is not stated here.

Listeners can expect a steady mix of Spanish and international pop, easy-going ballads and local announcements aimed at the Tuxtla area. The online stream is an AAC feed of around 80 to 100 kbps, delivered through Zeno.fm, which lets people outside the Chiapas coverage area follow the station. Detailed programming schedules are not published, so none are listed here.
