Nostalgie Plus Belgique

Nostalgie + Belgique is a secondary channel of the Belgian edition of Nostalgie, devoted to the hits of the 60s, 70s and French chansons. The programme goes further back than the main station, with the songs of the sixties and seventies, French chanson, early pop and rock and the voices that defined popular music for older generations, presented in French with a warm and unhurried style. The mood is sentimental and elegant, intended to bring back memories.

The Nostalgie brand began in France in the early 1980s and expanded into several countries, with Belgium as one of its French-language markets. A classic-hits format is very popular with listeners who prefer songs they know by heart, and it is useful for learners of French who want to hear well-known songs. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between songs. This stream is labelled by the broadcaster as AAC at 64 kbps, a low bitrate that uses little data and works well on mobile connections, though the sound is less detailed than on higher-quality streams. The station information does not give a precise bitrate in the technical field. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
