Power XL

Power XL is a channel of the Turkish PowerApp network. The network is known in Turkey for its family of music brands, such as PowerTürk and Power Pop, and XL is one of its streams, which is likely to carry a mix of popular music and energetic hits aimed at a broad audience. The presentation is in Turkish and kept brief, with the music at the centre of the programme.

PowerApp offers many channels through its mobile app and web streams, allowing listeners to choose between pop, Turkish pop, rock, slow songs and other styles. For Turks living abroad, an online stream is a convenient way to hear the music of home, and for learners of Turkish, it is an accessible source of everyday language between the songs. As a commercial service, it may carry advertising and promotional messages between songs. The details of this particular channel are not published in the metadata, so the programme may vary over time. The stream is delivered as AAC at 108 kbps, a modern codec that provides a clear sound at a moderate bitrate and works in most current browsers and on phones. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
