RVA Vietnamese

RVA Vietnamese is the Vietnamese-language livestream of Radio Veritas Asia (RVA), a Catholic media platform that offers services in English and some twenty Asian languages. The channel carries religious programming for Vietnamese-speaking listeners, including scheduled programmes such as the weekly Vietnamese Sunday Mass.

Radio Veritas Asia moved from short-wave broadcasting to digital platforms in 2018, and its Vietnamese Service is also active on YouTube, where its channel has passed 100,000 subscribers. The editorial line is that of the Catholic Church, and the service is aimed at Vietnamese speakers in Vietnam and abroad.

The stream is a mono 64 kbps MP3 feed served from RVA's Icecast server, which also hosts the station's other language channels such as Hindi, Hmong, Khmer, Telugu and Zomi. Detailed programme schedules are not published on the stream page, so listeners should consult the RVA website for current timings. As the stream is a live feed, what you hear depends on the time of day: scheduled programmes play at set hours.
