About La Bestia Grupera León 90.3 FM
La Bestia Grupera is a regional Mexican music station on 90.3 FM in León, Guanajuato, Mexico, broadcasting under the call sign XHML-FM. It plays grupera, banda and norteño music, with the cumbia and ranchera sounds that are popular across the Bajío region.
The frequency holds a concession dating from 1988 and is owned by Grupo Audiorama Comunicaciones, part of the Radiorama group. For nearly thirty years it was a Spanish-language contemporary station called Estéreo Vida, and it changed to the grupera format in April 2018. The station uses the slogan Dejando Huella and its programming includes morning and talk-style shows between the music blocks.
The station broadcasts in Spanish and is aimed at listeners in León and nearby towns, as well as Mexican audiences elsewhere who tune in online. The station's website lists a weekly programme schedule, so listeners can see which shows are on air at any time of day. The internet stream is an MP3 feed at 96 kbps in stereo.
