Flash90s

Flash90s is an Austrian internet radio station dedicated to the 1990s. Its tagline, "Jeder Hit flasht!", sums up the idea: a continuous run of hits from the decade, mostly pop and rock, with a website that also offers a playlist section.

The station is based in Austria, as its .at domain and contact address show, and its website and presenting are in German. The operator is not named on the pages we could read, so ownership details are not published here. It is aimed at listeners who grew up with 90s music or simply enjoy the sound of that era.

Expect familiar chart songs rather than niche programming. The emphasis is on well-known tracks from the decade instead of obscure album cuts, which makes it easy listening for the background at home or at work. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps in stereo over HTTPS, which gives good sound quality and works in virtually any browser, phone app or smart speaker that supports internet radio.
