Radio Paradise Mellow Mix

Radio Paradise Mellow Mix is one of the channels of Radio Paradise, an independent, ad-free internet radio service. This channel focuses on the gentler side of the station's eclectic playlist, with relaxed and thoughtful songs that suit background listening at home or at work.

Radio Paradise was founded in 2000 by Bill and Rebecca Goldsmith and is based in Eureka, California. It is funded by listener donations and merchandise sales rather than advertising. Its music is curated by hand rather than by a rigid genre format, so the mellow channel mixes singer-songwriter, folk, soft rock, acoustic and downtempo influences from many decades, and the station describes its general style as eclectic. Presenters are not a feature of the stream; the focus is on the music.

This stream is delivered as lossless FLAC audio in an Ogg container, which gives CD-quality sound for listeners with enough bandwidth. Lower-bitrate versions of the channel are offered by Radio Paradise for slower connections. Song information is provided on the Radio Paradise website. Listeners can expect continuous English-language music without commercial breaks.
