Radio América 94.7 Tegucigalpa

Radio América is a Honduran news and talk radio station associated with Tegucigalpa, the capital. Its website is news-focused, with sections for national and international news, sports, opinion, video and podcasts, plus a live audio stream labelled En Vivo. The stream here is an MP3 feed at 48 kbps.

The station belongs to Grupo América, also known through its app listings as América Multimedios. The broadcast language is Spanish, and the audience is general listeners in Honduras and Hondurans abroad who follow national current affairs.

Listeners can expect news bulletins, commentary and interview programmes. The website also lists podcasts such as Conecta2, Dimensión Migratoria, En el Radar and Liderazgo Femenino, and a programme schedule is published on the site. The 94.7 frequency in the name comes from the existing catalogue entry; the homepage does not state a frequency. Spanish-language news is the core of the offer, and the modest bitrate keeps the stream usable on slower mobile connections.
