FIP autour de l’électro

FIP autour de l’électro is one of the thematic webradios of FIP, the music station of Radio France. It concentrates on electronic music, spanning electronica, downtempo, house and techno, and keeps FIP's eclectic spirit by moving between styles instead of staying in one narrow genre.

FIP is a public radio brand owned by Radio France, known for carefully curated, mostly unannounced playlists across jazz, world, rock, soul and electronic music, with short spoken announcements between tracks. The electro webradio is one of several online-only streams alongside the main FIP channel and is aimed at listeners who want electronic sounds with a refined, lounge-friendly feel. Announcements are in French, while the music is largely international.

The stream is a 128 kbps MP3 feed from Radio France's Icecast servers, running continuously. Expect long, flowing sets with few interruptions. Detailed programme information is available on the official FIP website. As with the rest of FIP, the focus is on discovery, so listeners often find lesser-known artists next to established names from the electronic scene.
