Radio Swiss Classic

Radio Swiss Classic is a Swiss internet and digital radio station that plays classical music around the clock. The programme is built from a broad repertoire, from the Baroque and Classical periods through Romantic and into the 20th century, with works by composers such as Schubert, Haydn, Mozart and Britten appearing in the current schedule. This stream is the German-language version of the service.

The station is part of SRG SSR, the Swiss public broadcasting organisation, and is offered with German, French, Italian and English versions of its website. Its listeners are people who want an uninterrupted flow of classical music with very little talk, for example while working, studying or relaxing at home. The website shows a running list of the tracks with their composers.

On RadioKite the station is carried as an AAC stream at about 96 kbit/s in stereo. Expect long stretches of orchestral, chamber, piano, vocal and choral works, presented without advertising breaks in the stream itself.
