Capital Cymru

Capital Cymru is a Global-owned hit music radio station serving Anglesey and Gwynedd in North Wales. It combines chart pop and dance with Welsh-language presentation and music, and this stream is a low-bitrate AAC feed of about 48 kbps.

The station is part of the Capital network run by Global. It was previously branded Capital Cymru and later Capital North Wales, and the stream identifies itself as Capital North Wales - Anglesey and Gwynedd. In 2019 it introduced a fuller schedule of local output, including a Welsh-language daytime show, and Welsh-language news bulletins. Reports indicate Global has since been scaling back or ending its Welsh-language service, so the exact current schedule is not confirmed.

Listeners can expect current chart hits and familiar pop favourites, with presenters mixing Welsh and English depending on the show, plus local news and travel information. The stream is a continuous live AAC broadcast that works on any device with an internet connection.
