Radio Chevauchoir

Radio Chevauchoir is a community radio station from Lesve, in the Namur region of Belgium, which broadcasts on 105.5 FM and online. It describes itself as your radio on the net and offers a varied programme of shows rather than a single music format.

The station is run by a non-profit association, the ASBL RadioChevauchoir, based on Rue Chevauchoir in Lesve, with Lysiane Tasiaux listed on its website as president. Its language is French. The schedule includes variety, accordion and musette programmes, country music, Polish music, operetta, world music and oldies, so listeners can expect a mix of regional, traditional and nostalgic sounds.

The online stream is a 128 kbps stereo MP3 feed that can be played in any browser or media player. It suits listeners who enjoy local, friendly radio with a wide range of styles, particularly traditional and popular music from several European traditions, and who like the feel of a station rooted in its own community rather than a national network.
