Absolut Oldie Classics

Absolut Oldie Classics is a nationwide German digital radio channel from the Absolut Radio group. It plays greatest hits from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, with an emphasis on the 1980s. The stream identifies itself as Absolut CLASSICS and is delivered as a 128 kbps MP3.

The channel is distributed in Germany over DAB+ and online. A November 2025 press release from Bayern Digital Radio announced that Katrin Mueller-Hohenstein would host the weekday morning show from 6 to 9 a.m. starting in January 2026. The channel's launch date and wider history are not covered by the sources I found.

Listeners can expect familiar pop and rock favourites from the decades of the cassette and the early CD, presented in German. The mix suits listeners who want nostalgic hits without a narrow genre focus. The stream uses an HTTPS MP3 connection that plays in most browsers and players. The group's own website offers further programme information.
