LOS40
About LOS40
LOS40 is one of Spain's best known music radio networks, playing current and recent hit music in the Top 40 format. Its playlists centre on pop, dance and electronic pop, with Latin and urban hits such as reggaeton also in the mix, aimed mainly at a young audience.
The brand began in the 1960s as a music programme on Cadena SER in Madrid and became a station in its own right in the late 1970s and 1980s. It is part of the PRISA media group, and it was known as Los 40 Principales until a rebrand to LOS40 in 2016. The network also runs the Los 40 Music Awards and has sister stations in other Spanish-speaking countries.
This stream is the national Spanish feed, broadcast in Spanish and delivered as an MP3 stream at 128 kbps in stereo. Expect chart music, new releases, and presenter-led shows with news from the music world.
