Capital Radio

Capital Radio is a Dutch internet station that plays the best current hits together with favourite classics, and it advertises itself as ad-free. Its music runs from the 70s through to today's chart material, with themed selections such as 90s grunge and eurodance, under the slogan The Music of your Life.

The programming is organised like a classic hit radio day, with Capital Breakfast in the morning, Capital @ Work through the working day, Capital Drive in the late afternoon, Capital Top 6@6 in the early evening and Capital Evening after that. The weekend has its own blocks, including Capital Friday Night, Capital Saturday Night, Capital Sunday Morning and Capital Fourty. Presentation and the website are in Dutch, while most of the music is international and sung in English.

The station's owner is not stated on its homepage. The stream is an MP3 feed at 192 kbps in stereo delivered over HTTPS, a higher bitrate than many web stations, which suits music-focused listening on desktop and mobile.
