Yle Radio Suomi Lahti

Yle Radio Suomi Lahti is the regional edition of Yle Radio Suomi, the Finnish-language flagship channel of the public broadcaster Yleisradio (Yle). The channel plays a broad mix of popular music, with news, sport, phone-in programmes and everyday talk between the songs. This stream carries the version serving the Lahti area.

Yle Radio Suomi started on 1 June 1990 and is Finland's most listened-to radio station. It is owned and operated by Yle, which is funded by the Finnish public-service media levy and carries no commercial advertising. Most of the programming is produced nationally, while regional news desks join the broadcast at set times during the day with local news and stories that are heard only in their own area. The stream is labelled Lahti by the broadcaster.

Listeners can expect familiar Finnish and international pop and rock hits, weather and traffic information, current affairs and live coverage of major events and music festivals. The broadcast language is Finnish. The stream is delivered in AAC format and requires no registration.
