Veronica Goud van Oud

Veronica Goud van Oud, meaning old gold, is a channel of Radio Veronica playing classic rock and pop hits. The programme features the familiar songs of past decades in Dutch-presented sets. The mood is nostalgic and cheerful. The stream runs around the clock, so there is always something to hear whatever the hour. Because it is delivered over the internet, it is not tied to a single frequency or country, and it can be heard wherever you have a connection. A station like this works well as an all-day background, and it is easy to leave running at home, in the shop or at the office.

The Netherlands has a competitive radio market, and Veronica is among its best-known brands. As a commercial service it carries advertising. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 96 kbps, a moderate bitrate that provides a good sound for speech and music while keeping data use modest. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
