Veronika

Veronika is an internet radio channel listed under Afghanistan with a classical music tag. The listing gives almost no details, so the programme is likely to be a continuous stream of classical music, probably with minimal speech. The stream runs around the clock, so there is always something to hear whatever the hour. Because it is delivered over the internet, it is not tied to a single frequency or country, and it can be heard wherever you have a connection. A station like this works well as an all-day background, and it is easy to leave running at home, in the shop or at the office.

The details of the operators are not published, so listeners should treat this description as limited and expect a small-scale service. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 48 kbps, a very low bitrate that keeps data use minimal and is adequate for speech, although the sound is thin and not suited to music. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
