Klassik Radio

Klassik Radio is a German private radio station devoted to classical music, here in its live stream. The programme offers a friendly and accessible mixture of well-known orchestral works, piano pieces, opera excerpts, film music and crossover, with hosts who introduce the music in an informal and welcoming way. It aims to bring classical music to a broad audience.

Germany has one of the largest radio markets in Europe, with the regional public broadcasters of the ARD network, the national Deutschlandradio services and a wide range of private stations and web channels, and German-language radio is a rich source of listening practice for learners and a link with home for Germans abroad. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between programmes. The station information does not declare the codec or bitrate of this feed, so the sound quality may vary with the source and your connection. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
