Rádio Antena 1 94.7

Rádio Antena 1 94.7 is a São Paulo radio station playing adult flashback hits. The programme revisits the pop, soft rock and romantic songs of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s in a smooth, elegant sound, with a gentle presentation and short news and traffic items. The mood is nostalgic and refined, suited to the car and the office.

Brazil has one of the largest radio audiences in the world, with AM and FM stations in every city and a strong tradition of news, sport and music on the air, and Brazilian Portuguese is spoken with a warm and rhythmic character that learners find rewarding. The internet lets Brazilians living abroad keep in touch with the sound of home. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between programmes. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 96 kbps, a moderate bitrate that provides a good sound for speech and music while keeping data use modest. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
