Polskie Radio Program 3 (Trójka)

Program 3 of Polskie Radio, known as Trójka, is the public radio channel for culture, music and conversation. It has long been associated with rock, alternative and independent music, with the famous chart of its listeners, and with intelligent talk shows, literary and film programmes, interviews and commentary on current events. The presentation is thoughtful and informal, and the station has a loyal audience that values its independence of spirit.

Poland has a lively radio market, with national networks, public regional stations and many local and online services, and the internet lets Poles living abroad keep in touch with the music and language of home. For learners of Polish, everyday radio speech is a useful source of listening practice. As a public service, it carries limited advertising compared with commercial stations. The stream is delivered as AAC at 194 kbps, a generous bitrate that gives speech and music a clear and full sound on most devices. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
