Vibe CT

Vibe CT is a radio station from Trinidad and Tobago, with an address in Port of Spain, playing contemporary music. The programme is likely to include current pop, R&B, dance and Caribbean favourites such as soca and dancehall, presented by lively hosts who speak with the island's accent and add humour, news and entertainment items. The name suggests a focus on atmosphere and mood, and the tone is youthful and upbeat.

Trinidad and Tobago has a rich musical culture, famous for calypso, soca and steelpan, and radio plays a central role in the carnival season, when new songs compete for popularity. The station is connected with the TBC Radio Network, one of the large broadcasting groups in the country. The online stream allows Trinidadians abroad to keep in touch with the sound of home. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between songs. The language is English, with Trinidadian expressions, which is an interesting experience for learners. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, which provides a clear sound for speech and music on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
