Radio Maximum

Radio Maximum is a Moscow rock station playing Russian and international rock music and well-known classic tracks. Its playlist mixes legends of Russian rock with Western classics and current rock favourites, and it adds a lively presentation style with morning shows, music news and humorous segments. The tone is energetic and informal, aimed at an adult audience that grew up with guitar music and still likes it, so it has become one of the recognisable names among rock stations in Russia.

Maximum is a commercial broadcaster, which means that there are advertising breaks and station promotions between music blocks, and the presenters speak Russian. For international listeners, the station offers an interesting view into the Russian rock scene, which has its own history and distinctive songwriting traditions that differ from the Anglo-American canon. The broadcaster does not announce a fixed bitrate for the feed, which is common for large radio groups that adapt their streams, and it plays directly in your browser on RadioKite. Add it to your favourites if you want rock radio from Russia within a single tap.
