CK Radio

CK Radio, formerly known as Charleking, is an independent French-language radio station from Charleroi in Belgium. It plays a continuous mix of pop, electro and dance music aimed at a young adult audience of roughly 26 to 40 years old, with presenters, talk shows and short news items between the songs. The stream's own genre label is pop, electro, dance.

The station started on 1 December 2009 as a local Charleroi service and is operated by FM Charleroi Promotion ASBL, which the Belgian media regulator, the CSA, authorised as an independent radio in July 2019. It has since grown to cover a large part of western Belgium on FM and DAB+, including Mons and La Louvière, with its main FM frequency at 106.5 MHz from Chatelineau. It also has its own app and is available online worldwide.

In its regulatory reporting the station says that music makes up most of its output, with talk and information as smaller parts. The website also lists electronic DJ shows. This stream is delivered as MP3 at 192 kbps, which gives clear music and speech, and it plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation.
