TOP FM Belgrade

TOP FM Belgrade is a radio station broadcasting on 106.8 MHz in the Serbian capital, with a programme of popular music. The playlist is likely to combine current pop and dance hits with favourites from the last few decades, in Serbian and English, presented by hosts who speak the language in a lively, informal style and add news, greetings and entertainment items. The mood is cheerful and aimed at a broad adult audience.

Belgrade has a very busy radio dial, with many commercial stations that compete for listeners in the car and at work, and TOP FM is one of those that offer a general entertainment mix. The online stream allows Serbs living abroad, a large diaspora in Western Europe, North America and Australia, to hear familiar music and the voices of home, and it gives learners of Serbian a chance to hear everyday radio speech. The listing does not publish a detailed profile of the station, so the schedule may vary. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between songs. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 64 kbps, a low bitrate that keeps data use small and is adequate for casual listening. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
