CRnet Hard Rock

CRnet Hard Rock is a US internet station playing Christian hard rock and metal. The programme brings together bands that combine heavy guitars, powerful drums and energetic vocals with lyrics rooted in faith, ranging from classic hard rock and heavy metal to modern metalcore and alternative styles. The sound is loud and intense, and the message is positive, aimed at listeners who enjoy the energy of the genre and want their music to reflect their beliefs.

Christian rock and metal form an established subculture with its own bands, labels and festivals, and stations like this one give independent artists a way to reach fans around the world. The stream is part of a family of web radios devoted to Christian music styles, and the content is explicitly faith-based, which differs from general entertainment radio. Announcements are brief and in English. For fans who are not religious, the music may still be of interest for its musicianship. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, which provides a clear sound with solid guitars and drums on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
