Joy Türk Rock

Joy Türk Rock is the rock channel of Joy Türk, playing rock hits. The programme offers a selection of rock songs that are popular in Turkey, including international classics and anthems, alternative favourites and some Turkish rock, with guitars, drums and energetic vocals. Presentation is light, in Turkish, and the aim is to provide a soundtrack for the car, the office and the workshop with songs that are familiar and easy to enjoy.

The stream is delivered through the StreamTheWorld platform, which is used by many commercial radio brands to distribute their programmes online. Turkey has a lively rock scene, with a long tradition of bands that blend Western rock with Anatolian influences, and a themed channel like this one offers an alternative to the pop-oriented main stations. For Turks living abroad and rock fans elsewhere, an online stream is a convenient way to hear the music of the country. As a commercial service, it may carry advertising and promotional messages between songs. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 64 kbps, a low bitrate that keeps data use small and is adequate for casual listening. It plays in your browser on RadioKite, and you can add it to your favourites.
