Joy Türk

Joy Türk is a Turkish music station playing Turkish pop and hits. The programme concentrates on popular songs in Turkish, including current chart favourites and well-loved titles from earlier years, with warm vocals, melodic arrangements and the emotional themes that characterise Turkish pop. Presentation is light, in Turkish, and the aim is to provide company for the car, the office and the home with familiar, easy-to-enjoy songs.

The stream is delivered through the StreamTheWorld platform, which is used by many commercial radio brands to distribute their programmes online. Turkey has a lively radio scene with many networks aimed at different tastes, and the Joy Türk name belongs to a family of stations that also includes a rock channel. For Turks living abroad, particularly in Germany and other European countries, an online stream is a convenient way to hear the music of home. As a commercial service, it may carry advertising and promotional messages between songs. The details of the station's ownership and schedule are not published in the metadata. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 64 kbps, a low bitrate that keeps data use small and is adequate for casual listening. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
