El Viejón 91.7 El Salto

El Viejón 91.7 is a Spanish-language commercial FM station in El Salto, Durango, Mexico, broadcasting on 91.7 MHz under the call sign XHCCAX-FM. It is listed with a Regional Mexican music format and entertainment programming aimed at a local audience in the Pueblo Nuevo area of the Sierra Madre.

The El Viejón name is used by several unrelated stations in northern Mexico, so this one should not be confused with the El Viejón brand in Gómez Palacio. Public station listings name Gardom Media Group as the licence holder, while the website linked from the catalogue belongs to Grupo Franco Comunicaciones del Norte. Detailed information about the ownership arrangement, schedule and presenters is not published in the sources we could verify.

Listeners can expect a stream of regional Mexican music with station identification and announcements in Spanish. The RadioKite stream is an MP3 feed at 128 kbps in stereo, delivered over HTTPS, and its server reports itself generically as a RadioBOSS stream rather than under the station name.
