Zucca Radio

Zucca Radio is an internet radio service branded as "Cosmopolitan Music" and based in Limassol, Cyprus. The public stream carries a relaxed, eclectic mix of lounge, pop, bossa nova and swing styles, with a bright, upbeat feel that suits cafes, bars, shops and background listening.

The Zucca website presents several themed channels, including classics without jingles, instrumental music, lobby-style background music, retro cosmopolitan sounds, house and deep house, wellness and spa music, and a seasonal Christmas channel. Some of these channels are part of a subscription offering described as Zucca Premium, with ad-free listening. The stream listed here is the free web stream, and which channel or mix it follows at any moment is not published. The site is mostly written in Greek with some English, and the owner is not named on the pages we could read; the site credits music and live sets to DJ Yannis Mitsokapas.

The stream is a 128 kbps MP3 delivered over HTTPS and played back correctly when checked. Expect mostly vocal and instrumental tracks with little or no talk, designed to be continuous and unobtrusive. Listeners looking for a stylish, international sound with a Mediterranean flavour will find it a pleasant companion for work or relaxing.
