La Poderosa 91.1 FM

La Poderosa 91.1 FM is a Spanish-language FM radio station serving Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital of the Mexican state of Chiapas. It operates under the call sign XHIO-FM and belongs to the Grupo AS Comunicación radio group. The online stream carries the station's general entertainment programming.

The station is listed on the Grupo AS radio network website, which publishes a weekly programme grid but gives no written description of the music format, so the exact genre mix is not documented here. Broadcasts are in Spanish and are directed at a regional audience in Chiapas.

The internet stream is MP3 at 128 kbps in stereo, and the stream metadata identifies it as La Poderosa 91.1 FM XHIO. It plays in any browser or app that supports standard MP3 streaming, which makes it easy to listen to the Tuxtla station from outside the reach of the 91.1 FM signal. Listeners looking for details about shows and hosts should consult the Grupo AS Comunicación site.
