Crooner Radio Premium

Crooner Radio Premium is one of the webradio channels of Crooner Radio, a French station devoted to jazz vocals and the crooner tradition. The music centres on the great voices of jazz and swing, often with big-band and brass arrangements in the style of the 1950s and 1960s, along with related easy-listening standards.

Crooner Radio is a French independent project that also reaches listeners on DAB+ in several French cities, and offers further themed channels online. The details of what separates the Premium channel from the main service are not published on the pages consulted, so this description sticks to the general Crooner Radio format. The tone is warm and relaxed, aimed at adults who enjoy classic vocal jazz and a stylish, laid-back atmosphere.

Expect a continuous flow of music with little talk, suited to background listening at home or at work. The stream is a 128 kbps stereo MP3 and the station is based in France.
