WRVO-2 PRX Remix Oswego, NY

WRVO-2 is the second program stream of WRVO Public Media, a public radio service for Central and Northern New York whose main signal is heard on 89.9 FM. This channel carries PRX Remix, a public radio programming service, alongside the station's other streams: WRVO-1 with NPR News and WRVO-3 with the BBC World Service.

WRVO Public Media is an NPR member station based in Oswego, New York. The station describes its mission as bringing NPR news and local stories to listeners across the region. The HD2 channel is a spoken-word service, so expect talk, storytelling and public affairs features in English rather than a continuous music format.

The stream is a low-bitrate 24 kbps mono MP3 feed, designed to work well on slow connections and mobile data. Specific programme schedules for the PRX Remix channel are not detailed here; the station's website at wrvo.org lists the current offerings for each of its streams.
