Radio VINCI Autoroutes 107.7 Sud Ouest

Radio VINCI Autoroutes 107.7 Sud Ouest is the south-west regional stream of Radio VINCI Autoroutes, a French radio station that broadcasts traffic and travel information for drivers on the motorways operated by VINCI Autoroutes. On the road it is heard on 107.7 FM; this stream carries the same service online.

The station was created in 2011 by the merger of Autoroute FM and Radio Trafic FM, which had been run by the VINCI motorway companies Cofiroute, ASF and Escota. It is a private station owned by the motorway operator, and it broadcasts in French. Its studios are located near La Défense, close to Paris, and the information comes largely from motorway control centres. VINCI states that it airs a traffic flash about every 15 minutes and interrupts programmes when an event affects a route.

What to expect: short traffic bulletins, road conditions, travel advice and music between the updates, with extra staffing at summer weekends. The stream is MP3 at 128 kbps in stereo. The regional split and the exact music policy are not detailed in the sources consulted.
