AIR PUDUCHERRY FM

AIR Puducherry FM is the FM Rainbow service of All India Radio's Puducherry centre, serving the union territory of Puducherry on India's southeast coast. It broadcasts in Tamil and carries a mix of film songs, popular music and light programmes aimed at a broad local audience.

All India Radio is the national public broadcaster of India and is part of Prasar Bharati. FM Rainbow was launched by AIR in 1993 to reach younger and mobile listeners, with presenters taking the place of formal announcers, and Puducherry is one of the centres that originates programming for it. Specific schedule and frequency details for this stream are not published on the pages consulted, so they are not listed here.

Online, the station is delivered as an HLS stream, an adaptive playlist of short audio segments that most modern players and browsers can follow. Listeners can expect Tamil-language music and public service style broadcasting rather than commercial hype.
