América Estéreo 104.5 FM

América Estéreo 104.5 FM is a commercial radio station based in Quito, Ecuador. It broadcasts on 104.5 FM in the Pichincha area and is also available online through a live stream, mixing music with news updates, opinion programmes and entertainment segments for a general audience.

The station is run under the América Estéreo brand, with its studios and offices in Quito and a listenership that extends across Ecuador. Programming is in Spanish, and the station has taken part in local cultural life, for example by organising a free concert at the Tribuna del Sur during Quito's festivities in 2019. Detailed information about its ownership and exact music policy is not published on the sources we could check.

Listeners can expect a varied, family-friendly sound with presenters speaking Ecuadorian Spanish, regular news bulletins and talk segments between the music. The online stream is delivered as AAC+ at a low bitrate of roughly 32 kbps in mono, which keeps it light on mobile connections while remaining a faithful relay of the FM signal.
