Classic 21 Reggae

Classic 21 Reggae is a themed webradio from Classic 21, the rock and pop brand of the Belgian public broadcaster RTBF. The stream is dedicated to reggae and roots reggae, offering a continuous stream of Jamaican-rooted music rather than the rock programming of the main Classic 21 service.

Classic 21 is run by RTBF, the public service broadcaster of the French Community of Belgium, and is based in Wallonia. Besides its FM station it runs a number of online-only themed channels covering decades and genres, and this reggae channel is one of them. The station presents itself in French, while the music is largely in English and Jamaican patois.

Listeners can expect a relaxed, rhythmic mix with little talk, suited to background listening or fans of the genre. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps. RTBF does not publish a detailed playlist for this channel, so specific artists and programme schedules are not described here.
