SomaFM Heavyweight Reggae

This stream carries Heavyweight Reggae, SomaFM's channel of reggae, ska and rocksteady, with classic and deep tracks. The selection stretches from the golden age of Jamaican music, with Studio One and Trojan-era treasures, to roots reggae, dub, lovers rock and the occasional modern release that keeps the tradition alive. Offbeat guitar skank, deep basslines, horns and soulful vocals set a warm, sunny mood, and the programming has enough depth to include rarities you may not hear on typical reggae radio.
