987JAMZ

987JAMZ is a US urban music station whose official site is titled for Los Angeles. It describes itself as a "much more music station" and its stream metadata lists hip hop, R&B plus Afro Beats. The site also mentions K-pop in the line-up and gospel music all day on Sundays.

The station is run by a small team with a street team, according to its website. Ownership and licensing details are not published there. The broadcasts are in English and aimed at fans of current urban and hip hop sounds, with African-influenced pop alongside the US rap and R&B.

The same site also offers a second stream, 109Jamz The Throwback Station, which plays older hip hop and R&B. The main 987JAMZ stream is delivered as 128 kbps MP3 stereo, so it works in browsers and most radio apps. Expect a music-first sound with a broad mix of new releases and favourites.
