Radio Bhumi 92.8 FM

Radio Bhumi is a private FM radio station based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, broadcasting on 92.8 MHz. It programmes in Bengali and mixes popular music with talk content, and it is especially known for its live sports commentary.

According to Wikipedia, the station went on air on 30 September 2012 and is a subsidiary of the Impress Group, which also owns the television channel Channel i. Its audience is mainly Bengali-speaking listeners in Dhaka and across Bangladesh, as well as the diaspora who tune in online.

The online stream is a 192 kbps stereo MP3 feed, identified by the broadcaster as Radio Bhumi 92.80 FM. Detailed programme schedules are not published in the sources consulted, so expect a general-interest mix of Bangla music, conversation and match coverage when major sporting events are on. Because the station is also available on FM in Dhaka, the web stream lets listeners elsewhere in Bangladesh and abroad follow the same broadcast without a radio receiver, using any browser or radio app that supports MP3 streams.
