rautemusik Christmas Chor

rautemusik Christmas Chor is a seasonal themed web radio channel of the German internet radio network rautemusik (rm.fm). It plays Christmas music performed by choirs, and the stream metadata lists its genres as World, Special and Easy Listening. The channel is described by the network as choir Christmas songs without interruption.

rautemusik is based in Germany and runs dozens of genre channels. Christmas Chor is meant for listeners who want traditional, choral festive music, such as carols and Weihnachtslieder, rather than pop Christmas hits. The network and its website are in German, and German-language Christmas songs are a main part of the offer, alongside well-known carols from other traditions.

The stream is delivered over HTTPS as MP3 at 192 kbit/s in stereo and runs continuously. Detailed playlists and presenter information are not published on the stream, so what to expect is a calm, uninterrupted programme of choral Christmas music, best suited to the weeks around Christmas.
