The Christmas Channel

The Christmas Channel is a German web radio station that plays Christmas music around the clock. Its programme ranges from classics by artists such as Bing Crosby to modern holiday hits by performers such as Mariah Carey, spanning pop, soul and schlager, with both English and German-language songs.

The station is part of the rautemusik network (rm.fm), a German internet radio operator founded in 2003 that runs dozens of themed channels. According to its website, it has been on air since 2007 and describes itself as the most-listened-to Christmas radio in Germany. It was originally a seasonal offering and has broadcast all year round since 2019, with the motto that the Christmas feeling knows no date. The site presents it as Dein Weihnachtsradio, so the audience is primarily German-speaking.

Expect a continuous mix of festive songs with little talk, suitable for the Advent season or whenever you want a seasonal atmosphere. The stream is delivered over HTTPS as MP3 at 192 kbit/s and is available via the station's web player, TuneIn and the rm.fm apps.
