Der Barde

Der Barde is a German-language web radio station hosted on the laut.fm platform. Its stream identifies the genre as pagan, and the station tags itself with the German word Mittelalter, meaning the Middle Ages. It is aimed at listeners of medieval-flavoured and pagan folk music.

Laut.fm is a German platform that lets individuals and small groups run their own internet stations, so Der Barde is an independent online channel rather than a traditional broadcaster. Details about the operators and the exact playlist are not published on the pages that could be reached, so this description does not list particular artists.

The station is intended for audiences in Germany and German-speaking countries and is available worldwide as an online stream. The stream is broadcast as MP3 at 128 kbps in stereo, and plays continuously around the clock. Expect a themed music programme rather than news or talk, centred on medieval and pagan sounds.
