Sauna Radio

Sauna Radio is a Swedish community internet station with live DJ sets, electronic music and shows in Swedish and English, run by an enthusiastic collective. The mood is warm, experimental and club-oriented. The stream runs around the clock, so there is always something to hear whatever the hour. Because it is delivered over the internet, it is not tied to a single frequency or country, and it can be heard wherever you have a connection. A station like this works well as an all-day background, and it is easy to leave running at home, in the shop or at the office.

Sweden has a strong radio culture, with public Sveriges Radio and several commercial networks, and online stations from Sweden reach listeners worldwide. Community radio gives local voices a platform, and the schedule is presented by volunteers. The stream is delivered as MP3 at 128 kbps, a standard quality that sounds clear on most devices and keeps data use moderate. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
