Rouge FM 96.9 Saguenay

Rouge FM 96.9 is a Saguenay, Quebec adult contemporary station, with the call sign CFIX-FM. The programme plays pop favourites in French and English with local news. The stream runs around the clock, so there is always something to hear whatever the hour. Because it is delivered over the internet, it is not tied to a single frequency or country, and it can be heard wherever you have a connection.

Canada has a diverse radio landscape, with the public CBC and Radio-Canada services, large commercial groups, campus and community stations and many multilingual and online broadcasters, and its radio reflects a country of English, French and many other languages. As a commercial service, it carries advertising and promotional messages between programmes. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 40 kbps, a very low bitrate that keeps data use minimal and is adequate for speech, although the sound is thin and not suited to music. The station may be restricted outside Canada. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
