Sensuelle Radio 80

Sensuelle Radio 80 is a web radio station from La Réunion, the French island in the Indian Ocean. It presents itself as the number one station for 1980s music on the island and as the only one that is entirely devoted to the 80s. The stream's own metadata describes the music as 70s and 80s disco and funk, and the website highlights 1980s hits and classics, including dance maxi versions of 45 rpm records.

The station's website is written in French and credits a DJ and vinyl collector known as CapitaineJoe, who says he created the station in 2004. The site lists a team of presenters and weekly shows, among them a Saturday evening dance programme. Details about ownership and the full schedule are not clearly published, so this description does not go further than what the station states about itself.

The stream is delivered as MP3 at 320 kbps, a very high bitrate that gives a full and detailed sound, though it uses more data than typical streams. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and suits listeners who enjoy disco, funk and the pop of the 1980s.
