Bayram FM

Bayram FM is a Turkish regional radio station with music and programming. The schedule is likely to combine popular Turkish songs, folk and arabesk with local announcements, greetings, dedications and community information, as is typical of regional FM stations that serve their listeners as friendly companions in daily life. Presenters speak Turkish in an informal style, and the tone is warm and local.

Regional stations of this kind play an important role in Turkish media, connecting communities with their own tastes and concerns, and the internet allows people who have moved away to keep in touch with the sounds of home. The details of the station's location, ownership and schedule are not published in the metadata, and the programming may vary. For learners of Turkish, a local station offers natural speech with a regional flavour. As a commercial or community service, it may carry advertising or local announcements. The stream is delivered as AAC+ at 96 kbps, an efficient codec that provides a clear sound at a moderate bitrate and works in most current browsers and on phones. It plays in your browser on RadioKite without installation, and you can add it to your favourites.
