Radio Minshawi - Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi

This station streams Quran recitations by the Egyptian reciter Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi (محمد صديق المنشاوي), continuously and in Arabic. It is one of a collection of Quran radio channels offered by the website mp3islam.com, each dedicated to a single reciter.

The site describes itself as a collection of Quran radio stations streaming recitations from around the world, but it does not publish who operates it. Programming is recitation of the Quran, and the stream carries no music as far as its metadata shows. The listing in the catalogue places the service in Kuwait, although the website itself does not state where it is based. Minshawi is widely regarded as one of the most celebrated Quran reciters of the twentieth century, and his recordings are still broadcast by many Islamic radio services.

The stream is delivered as AAC at roughly 64 kbps in mono, a light format that works well on slow or mobile connections. The stream's metadata identifies it with the reciter's name in English and Arabic and the genre label islam. It suits listeners looking for a steady, devotional audio feed that plays around the clock.
